Embryo transfer tube:
Mainly used for embryo transfer, consisting of two catheters. The first catheter is a polypropylene insertion tube (blue interface), 14.5cm long, with an outer diameter of 2.2mm. It is graduated from the end to indicate the depth of the uterus, with a sliding fixator; The second catheter is a polyurethane graft tube, 23cm long, 1.53mm outer diameter, 0.7mm inner diameter, with 5 scales spaced 1cm at the bottom, a white interface, and a polyethylene cap. Avoid using during genital tract infections. After transplantation, remove the cannula together to avoid aspiration and retention in the body.
Usage:
1. In the previous cycle of IVF, the uterine depth was measured using a standard FrydmanTM catheter. Before embryo implantation, the cervix was wiped clean with antibiotic solution and then washed with physiological saline.
2. Place an insertion tube at the inner opening of the cervix (when exceeding the inner opening, push the fixator up to the outer opening of the cervix without changing any other markings).
3. Rinse the transfer tube with culture medium and inhale the embryo, then insert the transfer tube into the transfer site.
4. The depth of insertion of the catheter is determined by the depth of the uterine cavity, and the scale on the catheter can help calculate the length of the transplant tube entering the uterine cavity.
5. After transplantation, remove the cannula together and examine the tube wall under a microscope to see if there are any embryos.
